Just wanted to let you know "Tippy" is doing great. His new name is Teddy. He had a little trouble adjusting; he developed diarrhea, but a quick trip to the vet got him on the right path. He's eating great, playing and growing.
One ear is flopping down. Do I need to do anything? He's scheduled to go back to the vet for puppy shots and checkup in two weeks.
Thanks,BGC

Jeff, I wanted to thank you again for our adorable babies. They made the entire ride home sound asleep in their fleece bed - didn't make a peep. I think the bath may have worn them out.
They went to the vet yesterday morning and came out with a glowing report. My 16-year old daughter and 12-year old son have been their constant companions. My 3-year old bichons are scared to death of the babies. They stay up on the couch and out of the way. They sniff them when they are asleep but when the girls are awake, the boys are totally intimidated!
We are already so attached it is going to be hard to give the babies to Cathy for Christmas. We will insist on being babysitters when needed. I know she is going to be absolutely thrilled with her new babies and she will be great with them. I can't wait to see her face when she gets them on Christmas.
Hope you have a very happy holiday!
Ginger

Hi Jeff,
Well, it's been one week since we brought our two puppies home, and as promised, I am writing to let you know how they are doing. Pickles is now Hedwig, and Buttons is now Figment (the kids renamed them before we got home with them). They are doing great! They were really good for the 1.25 hour ride home and got used to their new house within an hour of their arrival. They went to our Vet on Monday and checked out fine. They are also well on their way to being house broken (with just an occasional accident here and there if we don't notice them sitting by the door). I am really glad that we got the two of them because they look for each other to play with all the time, and cuddle up to sleep right next to each other. They are such happy and healthy dogs. We could not be more pleased. Thanks again for your help.
Sincerely,
Bob, Beth, Jennifer, and Derek

Hi Jeff! Sorry I have not kept you updated on Rocky. I was looking out on your website and was reading some of the letters that people have written to you. I know exactly how they all feel. I could not be more happier with our puppy. Ever since we brought him home that second time he has been wonderful!!!! He is a growing, healthy little boy. We do not treat him like a dog. He goes every where with us. He really loves going to the movies. I think that Lord of the Rings is favorite so far! hahahaha My scanner here at work is messes up. Once it get's fixed I will send you some pictures of Rocky's first Christmas. Yes I took him to have his picture taken with Santa. Also to let you know we went to have family pictures done back in September and of course he is in them too! Rocky is going to be famous! When we had Megan's (my 6 yr old) pictures made with him the people at the studio had me sign some paper's so that they could use Megan and Rocky's pictures in advertisements. How cool is that! I have not seen or been notified that they are using the picture yet. When I hear something I will let you know.
One more story then I will let you go..... On Christmas Eve day I ran to the grocery store real fast...Rocky in hand too... I was standing in line and this man walked up to me and offered me $600.00 for Rocky. I told him that he was not for sale. The man proceeded to offer me $700.00. Once again I told him no. He kept on till he told me that he would give me a $1,000.00 for him. I could not believe it! Standing in line at the grocery store! I told him that if he wanted one bad enough to go to your web site. Then about 6 other people stopped me and asked me for your site!
I look at your site at least twice a week. Doug and I set up and saving account for Rocky. I know that sounds silly but in case we have to take him to the vet or any thing we will have the money on hand. Also we are saving to get another one. Maybe that way with two of them at the house Doug and I will be able to go to the movies with out smuggling Rocky in there too! hahahaha
Hope that your holiday was good!
Happy New Year!
Melissa, Doug, Megan and Rocky!!!

Jeff,
Sorry it has taken me so long to e-mail back. I don't check my e-mail very often. I never get any mail.
Lulu is fine. She went to the vet on 12-27-01 and was fine except she had some cocidia. The vet said this was common and put her on Albon. I will send you a copy of the vet report.
I also have a question about the AKC papers. You said to attach the two forms with a check for $25.00 and send to the AKC. The papers say to send only $15.00. I don't know if I have missed something or not. Just let me know.
Lulu is so sweet! We all love her dearly. She sleeps alot right now be when she is awake she is so sweet. We get the two puppies together at least once a day and let them play but Lulu seems to get her butt kicked everytime. She does not have the spunk that Annabelle has. They also play so rough. They bite so hard. We are afraid they will hurt each other. Anyway they do enjoy each others company. It seems to help them eat more when we put them together.
Thanks Susan

Goodmorning Jeff
I hope you had a great New Year. April (we have named her Katee) is doing great. She is eating her food and checked out great at the vet. Her ears are not staying up and I am wondering if they are supose to. I know her ears were taped so I don't know if we need to continue doing so or if they are supose to curl over??? She really is sweet and very playfull and our westie Comet loves her. Please let me know if I need to tape them or don't worry. Thanks a lot. Have a super day.
sincerely,
kelli

Good Morning Jeff,
We made it to Lubbock Tues. night and Buttercup (Tina) did great, she slept all night with no whinning. We came home yesterday and all is well. We have 'in floor' hot water heat and she has found the warm spots. I had always heard that pets love this heat and now I see it for myself. She slept all night again and wakes up ready to play. So far so good. We love her. My sister brought Sadie (Pickles) over last night and they played together for about an hour. Buttercup kept trying to nurse from Sadie.
We are taking her to the Vet today. We do not expect any problems, she seems just great.
Thanks! Danny

Jeff, He is doing great! My dad loved him and takes immaculate care of him
(along with my mom and me). He named him "Bear", kind of weird. I personally
liked Mister better. He has the best personality and everyone thinks he's so
cute. There's not a minute in the day that dog doesn't get attention; he
even goes to work and sleeps with my dad. Thank you so much for such a
winner. Kathleen

Dear Jeff,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Pickles and Mr. Bo Jangles (aka Boomer). Both are doing wonderful and enjoyed their holidays. Pickles is a beautiful girl. She's going on 10 months and weighs 3lbs. Her hair has grown into a soft gold and blue steel. She looks alot like her brother Mr. Bo Jangles. She thinks she's the boss over her brother and 2 sisters. Mr. Bo Jangles turned 1 yr on Christmas Eve and weighs 6 1/2 lbs. He's a real stud muffin and ready to work. Hard to keep him away from the girls. He really turned out handsome. Gold and blue steel hair and very lovey dovey personality. We're very greatful to you for the 3 wonderful babies we recieved and all your care and help. When we lost 1 of the 3 (our little Cobie), your were there to help us threw. You even had a beautiful little girl (Pickles) who needed loving care. Everyone who see's her asks where she came from. I can't tell you how many people I've given your number and website. I had to put the info on my cell phone because of all the inquires I get.
Once again let me say thank you. Tiffiney

Dear Mr. Dane -
Well, Teddy and I got home yesterday and the vet gave him a clean bill of health. He will be leaving for my grandmother's in OK City tomorrow. She is very excited to meet him. Maggie has been trying to mother him and it is so cute.
Thanks for everything! Rebecca

Hi Jeff:
Barty and the Doodlebug are doing great. They had their last puppy shot and also their rabies shot last Monday. I wanted to send you a new picture but we have been using the 35mm camera instead of the digital. What is the name of those chew sticks you gave us when we bought the puppies? We thought we had saved the label from the package but must have lost it. They love those things. I have looked on the internet and in all the pet stores around here and can't find anything that sounds like them. If you would let us know what the name is and where you get them two little angels would love you dearly. Its hard to believe that they are almost four months old. They are the sweetest little things on this earth and we love them dearly. We went to get the Doodlebug a sweater since she is cold natured, and Den said we had to get one for Barty too. I will try to get a good picture of them in those sweaters and send you. It is a hoot to see them wearing those sweaters.
Looking forward to hearing from you as we are almost out of those treats.
Thanks, Denny and Linda Roberts Barty and Doodlebug

Jeff-
This is Taylor who was BENNIE. He has been doing very well since our scare on christmas Eve (seziure, low blood sugar). He loves his little furry bed. I was wondering how long we should keep his ears tapped? They fell yesterday. Also, we took him to a vet that specializes in small dogs and they said he was in perfect health. But I was wondering about heart worms. The worming program that you gave them was that for heart worms or other. When should we start heart worms and do you have a preference on what brand is best for yorkies? Thank you so much for helping us on Christmas Eve night, it was a blessing to be able to call you and get answers to our questions.

Dear Jeff,
I just love my new little buddy. We named him Maximus Minimus. He had his vet visit on Saturday and was given a clean bill of health. Do you need a copy for the vet check? We went out and bought a little house, a bed for my office and one for the bedroom. I am not sure why we spent the money on the bed for the bedroom. He's pick out a spot between our pillows and is training us to let him sleep there. He is also going to be easy to house train because he always cries when he first wakes up so we will take him to the paper. In no time we will be well trained. He sleeps most of the time. Up every couple of hours at night to potty then back to bed. Some day he will be able to make it to the paper on his own but in the mean time we are very happy he lets us know its time to go right now. When I sit at my desk he rests his head on my foot. He is going to be my best little buddy. Thank you so much for meeting us for the delivery. We just love him!
Thanks, Oz

Hey Jeff! I am always looking on your website and I wanted to send you pictures of Heidi. She is doing great!! She could not be happier and I am so happy to have her in my life, I cannot imagine life without her! We do everything together, she is my little buddy! We have coffee at Starbucks every morning, we read books together, she accompanies me to the salon to get my manicures and pedicures, we eat lunch together, she rides with me when I have errands and we snuggle at night in bed. Even though she is so tiny she has so much love to give! I love her dearly!!! Thank you for my wonderful companion!
Monica
Dear Jeff,
I came up from Midland to get a puppy from you. His name at the time was Kirbee and we just stuck with it. He is doing great. We totally adore him. However he loves my mothers dogs (schnauzers) and wants to be over there all the time. He will mourn for them when we take him back home. I just wanted to email you and let you know the status of him. He is approx. 7 months and is only 3.5 pounds. He is still small. That is okay with us. We got him neutered and I got in a fight with one vet and finally found another vet that used gas. Kirbee did fine, however he was wheezing alot after the surgery. We are having so much fun with him. I am trying real hard to talk my husband into another one so Kirbee can have a friend. So far it is not working. So in the mean time we will let Kirbee go over to my mothers for play dates with the other dogs. Thank you so much for wonderful addition to our family.
Lara
I just got back from the vet and he said that chase was just perfect. He said that chase and dixie are the best looking yorkie's he has ever seen.
Thanks Amanda

Hi Jeff-
My husband & I bought a Yorkie from you a little over a year ago, whom we named Gypsy Belle (aka Bella-Bug). I can't tell you how much fun we have watching Gypsy Belle and our 7-yr old Pomeranian Bijoux play together. They light up our days! We were worried at first how a middle-aged Pom and a little Yorkie puppy would get along... but we have had nothing but love, laughs, and licks from the two of them. I am so happy I stumbled across your website last year (and also so happy I was able to sweet talk the hubby into having TWO small dogs)!
We have been so impressed with your business and the puppies you breed, that we have not hesitated to give your name to everyone who coos and cuddles our little girl.
Thanks again for such a great dog! Rumanda

Dear Jeff,
Thank you for much for our little Harlee (shorkie) who we have renamed Tink. She is an excellent little pup and has such fun with us here in Jewett. She made the ride home wonderfully and got an A+ rating at my vet's check-up the next day. I can't wait to come tomorrow or Friday to pick up the little male yorkie Apollo. I have told everyone how wonderful your place is and how much you really care for your animals. Getting Tink has fulfilled my long-time dream of owning a teacup yorkie. I am excited about the mixed breed hybrid vigor. She has eaten wonderfully and is doing very well with pottying outside. Everyone just loves her and we get stopped constantly asking about her and where we got her. Perhaps when I come tomorrow or Friday, I can get a few extra business cards to hand out. I must tell you that I am so shocked that my husband suggested we purchase a little male yorkie too within days of getting Tink.
I don't believe that I have ever met a breeder who is so serious, focused and truly loving to their animals. I know that I will be back for another puppy once these are house trained and grown up a bit. I will never buy another dog from any other breeder.
For anyone who might read this, know that the dogs that come from Jeff and Steve Dane are worth every penny. When it comes to a quality dog that is loved and cared for before you take it home...Jeff Dane is the one to go to first.
We love our little Tink and can't wait to get to your place tomorrow to pick up our male. If I had the money, I would come home with even more than my two.
Thank you for being the epitome of what a caring and loving breeder should be.
Thanks! Carla

Hi,
We had our physical and Teebone (now officially known as Maximus) is said to be picture perfect by Dr. Rizzo at Cal West Pet Hospital. He weighed in at a whopping 2lbs and 5oz, aside from a little distended belly from eating too much he is doing well. As for his adjustment to his new home it is going very well he is chasing the other dogs and family members around. Again many thanks and will send updates and pictures soon
Sincerely, Ana

Hi. It was a pleasure to meet Steve and view your quite impressive facilities last Saturday. My son and I took Bruiser to the vet on Monday, March 7 at 5:35pm. He is just dandy, of course. He is scheduled for his next appointment on March 28. He is, even now, sitting on my lap while I send you this e-mail. I plan on enrolling him (and Brad and I) into puppy school. We look forward to it and to the rest of the adventure ahead of us. The vets name is Amy Lewis of Hill Country Animal Hospital at 12410 Bandera Rd., Helotes, TX, 78023.
Again, thank you for our precious new friend. Sincerely, Clarice

MiMi saw the Vetrinarian today at 5pm (I received her yesterday, March 6, 2005).
The Vet said that she was in good health with the exception of having her right hind knee having a slight dislocation, loose? (I'm not sure of the medical term), apparently small dogs are frequently born with this. My other Yorkie had the same thing and he has pretty much grown out of his (he's 9 mos old) I am waiting for my vets office to send me a report for my records. As soon as I get it, I will email you the medical term. I forgot to ask for it while I was there.
Other than that, she is such a sweet and playful puppy! We renamed Maggy, her new name is MiMi Bell. Tisha

Hi Jeff
Just wanted to let you know that Derby was looked at on Sunday 2-27-05 by Dr. Beaver. Every thing looked good, the only thing that Dr. Beaver was a little worried about was some clear water discharge coming from his nose. So she put him on so Clavamox to help clear that up.
Other then that He is getting very use to his new home and is as happy as ever.

Hi Jeff,
Just to let you know things are great with my new little puppy. I took him to
the vet today to get a checkup. Things looked great, but I felt a lump on the
side of him today, but the vet said it could have been b/c of a recent shot, or if he bumped himself or something else. She did try to see if some fluid would come out, but nothing did. Everything else is going great, and the
puppy is in great health. Thank you so much! Kara

Hi Jeff,
I just wanted you to see how cute and happy Whooper is. I have changed his name to Sebastian. I think it suits him better he went to the Vet yesterday and he received an A+.. His Vet could not believe that I actually purchased him on line since he was so healthy..I did not think that I could love an animal as much as I do him and it has only been three full days with him. Thank you so much for my new baby..I will keep in touch with his growth as well as purchasing my next baby soon. Thanks Lynne

Jeff,
We picked him up yesterday at the airport and he was ready to go. He’s adorable and he has a fantastic disposition, not shy or timid at all and he’s extremely curious. My girlfriend has renamed him “Walter” and he seems to like it. I took him to the Vet this morning and she said everything is A-OK.
Thank you for your help Jeff and I’ll be sure and recommend you to anyone interested in a Yorkie. We’ll be sure to send pictures as he gets bigger.
Thanks again. Regards,
Richard
